About the MPS

The Mont Pelerin Society (MPS) is an international organization composed of economists, philosophers, historians, intellectuals and business leaders who champion the ideas of liberty, freedom and prosperity. The members of the society advocate for freedom of expression, free market economic policies and the political values of an open society.

Founded by Professor FA Hayek in 1947, the society has had 9 Nobel prize recipients as its members.
